I graduated in 2005 from Central Michigan University with a degree in History, an Art minor, and the intent to teach in a secondary education classroom. As often happens, God had other plans. I was a substitute teacher, developed and taught supplemental art classes on many occasions, but never ended up teaching in a traditional school. 

When my husband and I began adding to our family, we came to the conclusion that homeschooling would be the best option. We have four children. We enjoy the freedom that homeschool offers to learn from life and advance in our education in the ways that work best for us. 

I am very passionate about apologetics, the reasoned defense of the faith. I love to share that knowledge with students whenever the opportunity presents itself. I also enjoy kayaking and spending time in my vegetable garden.
